Setup:

Connect the device to your PC using a USB cable, then transfer the 'tboard-server' file from the device to the desktop or accessible location on your computer. Opening the 'tboard' application on the device will generate or update the file within the specific folder:

• /Android/data/it.tbit.tboard/files/

If needed, move the file to the public directory '/Download' on the device to facilitate access from your PC.

Note that 'tboard-server' operates within certain user permission constraints and cannot control administrative or root sessions unless executed as a root administrator.

Make sure to set your system keyboard layout to US/American-International; adjust this setting in Windows under 'Language Control Panel' in 'Settings.' For guidance on utilizing the international layout, refer to online resources.

Caution:

To enhance security, restrict 'tboard-server' access to your subnet or specify an IP address through the firewall. Without proper security measures, unauthorized individuals might hijack your PC remotely by executing potentially harmful commands via keyboard inputs.

'Tboard' utilizes inbound and outbound UDP connections on port 9779.

Exercise caution when using 'Tboard' on Wi-Fi networks; while this version encrypts communications based on your Wi-Fi security settings, a future release will implement robust encryption for client-server interactions. Prioritize trusted Wi-Fi networks when employing 'Tboard.'

Version limitations:

Only one instance of 'tboard-server' can function at a time within a given subnet.

Usage Instructions:

• Avoid clustering your fingers too closely and maintain separation between thumbs and other fingers.
• Possible finger actions include tapping, dragging, swiping, and pinching for various interactions.

• Instruct screen pointer movement by using single-finger gestures.

• Execute mouse-related functions with sequences like two-finger taps for left-clicking, three fingers for right-clicking, and four fingers for middle-button actions.

• Enhance efficiency by employing gestures for tasks such as dragging, text cursor movement, text selection, tab closure, window closure, etc.
